
A few days ago, the halls of Benbrook High School looked a little different.

By the time the final pitch crossed the plate Friday night in Boyd, everybody knew what it meant.

Friday night lights may still be months away, but at Western Hills High School, preparations for the next school year are already picking up energy.

After keeping a close eye on field conditions following recent rain, the Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association announced that games scheduled on Fields 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8 will move forward as planned.
