Young ballplayers have a chance to sharpen their skills this summer as Next Up Baseball Academy returns to Benbrook for a three-day baseball camp led by coaches with Major League Baseball experience.
The camp runs July 7 through July 9, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Benbrook High School baseball field. Instruction will focus on fielding, hitting, and pitching, with an emphasis on building confidence while developing fundamental skills.
The camp will be led by Daniel Hernández, who brings four years of MLB experience, and Coach Ricardo Ferrer, who spent 10 years in the majors. Organizers say the program is designed to help young athletes train, compete, and continue growing their game in a positive, instructional environment.
Registration is $175 per player.
