BENBROOK, TX – Benbrook Youth Baseball & Softball Association (BYBSA) is making a last-minute pivot ahead of the season’s first games.
Due to an ongoing jersey and hat delay, the league has decided to cancel all Opening Night activities originally scheduled for March 14, with plans to reschedule a similar event later in the season.
While the official uniforms are still in limbo, teams will need to wear matching shirts for now. To keep things organized on the field, BYBSA will provide multi-colored wristbands for each player. Team reps must pick up wristbands and Player of the Week signs at the concession stand before game time and log wristband colors on lineup cards for easy player identification.
BYBSA apologizes for the hiccup and appreciates everyone’s patience. Despite the delay, the season is still set to kick off, and the league is excited to see players hit the field!
