It’s a full slate of events at Benbrook Middle-High School this week, giving students, families, and fans plenty of reasons to show their school spirit.
The excitement kicks off Tuesday, November 4, when the BMHS Orchestra welcomes the Fort Worth Symphony for a day of musical collaboration, concluding with a 2:30 p.m. concert. Later that evening, middle school football faces McLean/Leonard at home starting at 6 p.m., while the 9th and JV football teams travel to Venus for back-to-back games beginning at 5 p.m. The BMHS Theatre Department is also hosting a Chipotle fundraiser from 5 to 9 p.m., and the Ladycats Basketball team will scrimmage at Arlington Heights.
The week’s highlight comes Thursday through Saturday (Nov. 6–8) with the Middle School Theatre’s production of Beetlejuice Jr. at 7 p.m. in the BMHS Auditorium, plus a special 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday. Also on Thursday, the Bobcats Football team takes on Venus at Clark Stadium for Senior Night at 7 p.m.
Rounding out the weekend, the Ladycats Basketball team hosts Trimble Tech Friday evening at 5 and 6:15 p.m., and Bobcat Basketball tips off a home scrimmage against Huckabay at 10 a.m. Saturday.
It’s a week filled with talent, teamwork, and hometown pride—proof that the Bobcat spirit is alive and thriving both on and off the field.
