Build a Fort, Share a Story at Benbrook Library’s Family Fort Night Tonight.

There is something timeless about turning blankets and pillows into a fort, especially when it happens after hours inside a library.

The Benbrook Public Library is inviting families to its annual Family Fort Night on June 12 from 6 to 8 p.m., an evening filled with camp-style fun, creativity, and plenty of family time.

The night begins with classic campfire-style spooky stories before families spread out among the library shelves to build their own forts and enjoy board games together. Participants are encouraged to bring their own blankets and pillows, while the library will provide clamps to help secure each fort.

Food will also be provided, and registration is required so organizers can plan accordingly. For families looking for a simple way to make a summer memory together, this might be the perfect excuse to stay up a little later than usual.

Families can register online at Family Fort Night Registration.
