BENBROOK – The Benbrook Bobcats closed out their regular season with a tough 83-42 loss to the Southwest Raiders, a team riding a six-game win streak and flexing their dominance on the court.
The last time these two teams met, it was a nail-biter, with the Raiders barely escaping with a 37-35 win. But this time, there was no squeaking by—Southwest controlled the game from start to finish, leaving the Bobcats struggling to find any rhythm.
Benbrook wraps up the regular season at 18-14 overall and 8-4 in district play, locking in a third-place finish. While the loss stings, the Bobcats now turn their attention to the playoffs, where they’ll have a chance to reset and make a run.
