Benbrook Middle High School choir students are trading concert halls for campfires as they prepare for a unique 2026 spring trip that blends music, learning, and the outdoors.
The Bobcat Choir will spend three days and two nights camping in Oklahoma, building community through games, shared experiences, and plenty of singing. The trip also includes a tour of the University of Oklahoma campus and a meaningful performance visit to the Oklahoma City National Memorial, giving students a chance to connect music with history and reflection.
The trip is scheduled for March 6 through March 8, 2026, and is open to all high school choir students. Families interested in learning more are encouraged to attend a parent information meeting on Monday, February 9, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held on Zoom, with the link shared through the choir’s usual communication channels.
The experience promises to be a memorable mix of adventure, education, and music for Benbrook’s young vocalists as they take the Bobcat Choir truly into the wild.
