BENBROOK, TX — Benbrook is buzzing with pride as Jeremy Cruz Maderos of Western Hills Elementary School clinched first place in the 2nd Annual Spanish Spelling Bee at Fort Worth ISD — marking his second consecutive win!
The competition was fierce, with Ángeles Ruiz Baldovino from Carter Park Elementary School securing second place. The event celebrated the brilliance of young spellers and the beauty of the Spanish language.
A special thanks goes to the esteemed judges: Telemundo’s News Anchor Nancy Leal, Interim Superintendent Dr. Molinar, and Trustee Luebanos, whose support made the event unforgettable.
