Benbrook has another reason to celebrate.
Recent Benbrook High School graduate Avery Glanzer has been named to the 2025-2026 North Texas High School Golf Coaches Association Honor Team, in recognition of her accomplishments as one of the region’s standout student-athletes.
According to the published Honor Team list, Glanzer was one of just 10 girls selected from North Texas schools.
The honor caps an impressive high school golf career before Glanzer takes the next step in her academic and athletic journey at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she will continue competing at the collegiate level with the UTRGV women’s golf program.
Congratulations to Avery on this well-deserved recognition, and best wishes as she begins an exciting new chapter both in the classroom and on the course.
