Long after the final outs and last practices of the season, one thing the Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association wants its coaches to know is simple: their time, leadership, and investment in local kids matters.
BYBSA is inviting all head and assistant coaches, along with their spouses and children, to attend the annual Coaches’ Appreciation Dinner on May 17 at 5 p.m. inside the Benbrook Middle-High School cafeteria, located at 201 Overcrest Drive.
The evening will celebrate the volunteers who spent countless hours organizing lineups, running practices, encouraging players, and helping shape young athletes throughout the season. Baseball and softball Coach of the Year honors will also be announced during the event.
Association leaders are asking attendees to RSVP by Monday, May 11, to help finalize food counts and event planning.
The dinner comes just one day after the organization’s end-of-season tournament on May 16, with tournament brackets and game times expected to be finalized once all regular-season scores are submitted.
