Benbrook Youth Baseball & Softball: New Coach Registration Now Required.

Benbrook’s youth baseball and softball season is gearing up.

Suppose you plan to coach or be a team parent. In that case, there’s one crucial update to know: the Benbrook Youth Baseball Softball Association (BYBSA) has rolled out a new registration form that EVERYONE must complete, even if you’ve filled one out before.

If you’re planning to be on the field or in the dugout during practices or games, this form is your ticket in. No submission means no field access, no exceptions.

The 50% reimbursement for head coaches is still in place. You’ll pay the full fee upfront and receive your refund shortly after the season starts.

All coaches are now required to include their date of birth and driver’s license number so BYBSA can run a criminal history check with the Texas Department of Public Safety. This information won’t be used to judge your qualifications, but it will be used to determine eligibility.

Coaches are also expected to lead with integrity, ensure their team’s parents handle concession shifts, and follow league rules closely. Poor sportsmanship from coaches, players, or spectators won’t fly.
