A new chapter is beginning for the Emerald Line at Benbrook Middle-High School.
School leaders recently announced Michelle Fournier as the new Head Drill Team Director, bringing with her a strong background in dance, performance, instruction, and leadership.
Fournier arrives with 16 years of dance experience, including time as a Western Hills Blue Belle, a TVCC Cardette and Cardette Showgirl, and a member of the first Trinity Valley Community College Cardettes team to win a national championship. Her experience also includes performing at Texas Live! Lone Star and directing both the studio and drill team programs.
Beyond the dance floor, Fournier will also be entering her third year teaching SPED Inclusion, adding another layer of experience to her role within the school community.
“I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity to continue directing at Benbrook with the talent of the Emerald Line,” Fournier said. “I can’t wait to see what beautiful things this year has in store for us. Go Bobcats!”
For Benbrook students, parents, and alumni, the announcement signals an exciting new season for the Emerald Line as preparations begin for the upcoming school year.
With a blend of performance experience, teaching expertise, and enthusiasm for student development, Fournier is ready to lead the program’s next chapter.
