Benbrook Residents Push Back on Rowan Ranch Plans.

Tensions are rising in Benbrook as the proposed Rowan Ranch development near Mary’s Creek stirs concern among locals. What some see as progress, many others call a potential problem.

More than 2,000 residents have signed a petition, and community meetings have been anything but quiet. Neighbors are raising concerns about flooding risks, changes to the natural floodplain, and the potential long-term environmental impacts. With so much at stake, the conversation is growing louder.

Now, the pressure is on city leaders to take a closer look before greenlighting what could be a major turning point—or misstep—for Fort Worth’s west side.
