Benbrook Rallies After Storm of the Century.

Benbrook residents are still taking stock after a Sunday night storm slammed the area with winds topping 100 mph.

What many are now calling the storm of the century left behind broken trees, tossed fences, scattered shingles, and widespread power outages.

From Kincaid Drive to Holiday Park South, neighbors have been checking in with one another, sharing relief, cleanup plans, and a sense of gratitude. Some lost trees, others lost power, but most are simply grateful to still have roofs over their heads and loved ones safe.

Nature did some pruning, gardens took a hit, and parts of town remain dark, but the community spirit is strong.
