A routine meeting on paper could carry decisions that shape how Benbrook grows.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet Thursday, April 9, at City Hall, with a worksession at 7:00 p.m. followed by the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m.
Among the items up for consideration is a replat request for just over two acres at the corner of Southwest Boulevard and Crosslands Road, tied to property currently zoned for commercial and multifamily use.
The agenda also includes a public hearing on a proposed zoning amendment that would allow HUD-code manufactured homes in designated areas of the city, in line with recent state legislation. The discussion could help define where and how this type of housing fits into Benbrookโs future.
While some agenda items are procedural, others touch on development and housing options that often draw community interest.
