The City of Benbrook will host the next Parks and Recreation Board meeting on Wednesday, January 14, at Benbrook City Hall, 911 Winscott Road.
The evening begins with a public worksession at 7:00 pm in the Central Conference Room. Board members will review their roles and responsibilities and walk through items scheduled for the regular meeting.
The regular meeting follows at 7:30 pm in the Council Chambers. The agenda includes the oath of office for new board members, approval of the minutes from the November 12 meeting, selection of a board chair and vice chair, and an overview of the Parks and Recreation Department from city staff. Residents are invited to share comments during designated public comment periods, with remarks limited to three minutes.
City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Residents who need accommodations or want to report accessibility concerns can contact Public Services Director Bennett Howell at 817-249-6063. Requests for sign interpretive services should be made at least 48 hours in advance.
