Homecoming week at Benbrook Middle-High School is in full swing, but Mother Nature has forced a small change to the celebration lineup.
Due to forecasted bad weather on Saturday, the highly anticipated football game has been rescheduled for Friday at 4 p.m. at Farrington Field.
While the new time gives the team a better chance to play under clearer skies, it also has some parents and students wondering how the early kick-off will affect attendance.
Many have voiced concerns about getting to the stadium in time after school and work, but school officials have confirmed that all other homecoming events will remain as planned.
Despite the schedule shift, excitement remains high across campus as students gear up for one of the biggest weeks of the year. From spirit days to the big dance, homecoming continues to bring together students, families, and the Benbrook community.
