Sometimes making a difference is as simple as delivering a lunch.
Benbrook resident Crissy Thuemmel is part of a volunteer group that delivers Meals on Wheels to neighbors across the community on one Thursday each month. Now, the team is looking for one more volunteer after a longtime driver stepped away.
The commitment is just one Thursday each month, but the impact lasts much longer for local seniors and homebound residents who depend on both the meal and the friendly visit.
