Benbrook Library Turns Up the Heat with Lotería Night.

The Benbrook Public Library is spicing up game night with a twist. Next Friday, September 12th, the library transforms into an after-hours playground for adults ready to roll the dice on fun, food, and a little friendly competition.

Lotería, often called Mexican bingo, brings together fast-paced play, colorful cards, and plenty of laughter. Whether you grew up shouting “¡Cantaaaaa!” or you are picking up your first card, the night is built for everyone. Expect prizes, surprises, and the kind of energy that makes you forget it is happening inside a library.

The event is for ages 21 and older, with a $5 cover that includes food and refreshments. Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks, grab a seat, and settle in for a game that has kept families and communities connected for generations.

Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes Street in Benbrook. For more details, visit benbrooklibrary.org, email reference@benbrooklibrary.org, or call 817-249-6632.

It may not be your abuela’s game night, but she would probably still win.
