The Benbrook Public Library is opening its doors this month for a special community event explicitly designed for neurodiverse families.
On Sunday, October 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., families can enjoy a calm and supportive environment where children of all ages can explore the library at their own pace.
The celebration will feature a storytime at noon, hands-on crafts, and activities that encourage creativity and play. Local vendors will also be on-site with resources for families, and food trucks will offer snacks and refreshments to complement the afternoon.
Partnering with Stoneโs Throw Farm Co., the library aims to make the day both welcoming and enriching for all attendees.
The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes St. For more details, visit benbrooklibrary.org, email reference@benbrooklibrary.org, or call 817-249-6632.
