The Benbrook Public Library is marking Black History Month by spotlighting new learning resources each week, with a special focus right now on the youngest readers in the community.
This week’s feature is the Joyful ABCs series for infants and toddlers, a collection of books and hands-on activities for every letter of the alphabet. The materials are curated by the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and are designed to introduce early learners to language, culture, and joy through play and discovery.
