Residents looking for something meaningful to watch this month can now stream a curated collection of films celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander stories through Benbrook Public Library.
The library is spotlighting a special AAPI Heritage Month collection available on Kanopy, the free streaming service offered through participating libraries. The collection features films that highlight the cultures, experiences, and contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities through documentaries, independent films, and award-winning storytelling.
Among the featured titles is Ms. Purple (2019), directed by Justin Chon.
