Benbrook residents showed up and showed out for a good cause—and the results speak volumes.
The recent Friends of the Benbrook Library Book Sale was a major win, raising $1,969.06 to support programs and services at the Benbrook Public Library.
It was all made possible by the behind-the-scenes hustle of dedicated volunteers who unboxed books, set up shelves, and kept the event running smoothly.
As part of Volunteer Appreciation Week, the library is kicking things off by spotlighting the local heroes who made the sale a success—and there’s more to come.
Keep an eye out for more ways volunteers continue to make a lasting impact in Benbrook’s community spaces.
