Benbrook Lady Bobcats Earn National Recognition for Excellence in the Classroom.

Success isn’t measured only by wins on the court.

The 2025-2026 Benbrook Lady Bobcats varsity volleyball team has been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) with both the AVCA Team Academic Award and the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, highlighting an outstanding year in the classroom.

The team earned the AVCA Team Academic Award by maintaining a collective 3.3 GPA or higher throughout the school year. They also received the AVCA Academic Honor Roll, placing their team GPA among the top 20 percent in their division nationwide.

The honors reflect the dedication, discipline, and hard work these student-athletes bring both on the court and in the classroom.
