AUSTIN, TX – Big things are happening in the pool for freshman standout Skylar, who made a splash at the state championships earlier today.
Skylar secured 9th place in the 100-yard backstroke with a lightning-fast 1:03.51, slicing an impressive 1.4 seconds off her prelim time. She also locked in 12th place in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing in 1:04.94—an incredible 1.6-second improvement.
Dropping this much time in both events is no small feat, and Skylar’s performance proves she’s a force to be reckoned with. A huge shoutout to Dr. Oliver and Coach Slater for showing up to support her on this incredible journey!
