A Sunday stroll through Dutch Branch Park will come with plenty to browse, taste, and take home when the Benbrook Artisans & Farmers Market returns Oct. 4.
The monthly market will bring together about 100 local farmers, ranchers, artisans and food vendors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. near the Benbrook Community Center YMCA at 1899 Winscott Road.
Shoppers can expect a little bit of everything, including seasonal produce, plants and flowers, baked goods, sweet treats, local honey, artisan cheeses, meats, preserves, tamales, dog treats, candles, soaps, jewelry, art and garden products.
It is an easy way to spend part of a Sunday close to home while filling a bag or two with something grown, baked, raised, or made locally.
