Benbrook Elementary Ready to Welcome Students Back Monday.

The countdown is over.

After weeks of preparation, Benbrook Elementary is ready to welcome students for the first day of the 2026-2027 school year on Monday.

Teacher letters have been mailed, families have had the chance to meet their teachers, and educators recently gathered for the district’s annual convocation to kick off the new year with encouragement and purpose.

Behind the scenes, teachers and staff have spent the past several weeks, especially the last few days, putting the finishing touches on classrooms and preparing for students’ return.

Now, all that’s left is the sound of morning bells, full backpacks, and eager faces walking through the doors.
