Benbrook Educator Gauges Interest in New Homeschool Math Academy.

โ€ข

As homeschooling continues to grow, one Benbrook educator is exploring a new way to help families tackle upper-level math.

Kristine Mohr is considering launching Mohr Math Academy, an online program designed for homeschool students in grades 6 through Algebra II. Before moving forward, she’s asking local homeschool families to complete a brief interest survey to help determine whether there’s enough community demand.

Mohr’s vision includes live, small-group online math classes, along with optional one-on-one tutoring for students who could benefit from additional support.

She brings a decade of experience teaching secondary mathematics in grades 6-12 and holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Secondary Math. Her background includes classroom teaching, virtual instruction, and curriculum development for an online public school.

Families interested in sharing feedback or learning more can complete the Mohr Math Interest Form at Mohr Math Interest Form.

If you’re part of the homeschool community, your feedback could help shape a new local educational resource.
