Benbrook Middle-High School cheerleaders traded the sidelines for a day of service Saturday, lending a hand at the 17th annual Shootin’ For A Cure sporting clay event.
The Sept. 19 fundraiser at True Grit Ranch in Granbury brought participants together for clay shooting, food, music, auctions and drawings, all with a larger purpose. Proceeds benefit cancer research and local cancer patients in Tarrant, Hood, Johnson and Parker counties.
Benbrook Middle-High School Cheer helped make the day happen. “Benbrook Middle-High School Cheer loves helping out in the community, especially for a great cause,” the group shared after the event, thanking the cheerleaders for serving.
Shootin’ For A Cure has grown into an annual community fundraiser where participants can take their shot against cancer while helping families closer to home.
