Benbrook Businesses Thank Local Teachers.

A Benbrook business meeting took a different turn this week, trading part of the usual networking for handwritten notes to local teachers.

During the latest Benbrook Business Exchange, members of the Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce spent time writing personal thank-you messages to Benbrook educators, recognizing the work they do each day with local students.

The gathering also brought business and education leaders into the same conversation. Benbrook Mayor Jason Ward and Benbrook Middle-High School Principal Dr. Oliver spoke to attendees about community involvement and the role residents and organizations can play in strengthening Benbrook.

For the Chamber, the morning reminded us that supporting the local economy and supporting local schools do not have to be separate efforts. Strong communities depend on people willing to invest in both.

This time, that investment was simple: a handwritten note letting Benbrook teachers know their work is seen and appreciated.
