Benbrook readers, mark your calendars. The Benbrook Public Library is hosting two book club meetups the first week of July, and this month’s read brings Cold War intrigue to the table.
Coffee Break meets Wednesday, July 2 at 11:15 a.m., and Bent Corners gathers Thursday, July 3 at 6 p.m. The featured book is a biography of early CIA leader Frank Wisner, written by bestselling author Douglas Waller. Packed with espionage, strategy, and real-world relevance, the discussion promises to be lively and eye-opening.
Both clubs meet at the library, located at 1065 Mercedes Street. Everyone’s welcome, whether you’ve read the full book or just want to join the conversation.
