Benbrook Bobcats’ New Field Taking Shape Despite Delays.

Progress is moving forward at Benbrook Middle-High School as construction on the track and field project picks up pace.

A few hiccups slowed things down early on, including installation mistakes and recent rain, but things are back on track.

The turf is now down for both the football and soccer fields. The black end zones proudly display “Benbrook” on one end and “Bobcats” on the other, both in bold white letters outlined in gold. At midfield, the school’s Bobcat logo sits front and center. Field numbers and markings have already been completed.

Next, workers will pour cement borders and lanes for the track. With steady progress, the school is looking forward to having the Bobcats compete on a fresh new field when the next season rolls around.
