Two Benbrook students are being recognized for academic excellence on a statewide level, placing them among the top high school scholars in Texas.
Benbrook Middle-High School announced that Abyela Patterson qualified for the Elite Level of the Texas High School Coaches Association All-State Academic program. Only 28 students were selected at this level out of 1,908 accepted GPAs across the state. Abyela also earned Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State Academic honors for maintaining a 94 average or higher throughout her high school career.
Kailey Williams also received major recognition, qualifying for Second Team All-State Academic honors through the Texas High School Coaches Association. She was one of 770 students selected statewide and also earned Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State Academic honors for sustaining a 94 or higher career average.
These achievements reflect years of discipline, focus, and commitment in the classroom. For Benbrook, it is another reminder that Bobcat pride extends well beyond the field and into academic excellence.
