The Benbrook Community Center YMCA Barracudas are making waves beyond Benbrook this week as they head to Frisco to compete in the 2026 Lone Star YMCA Swim Championship.
Over the next four days, the team will race against YMCA swimmers from across Texas in one of the state’s premier summer swim meets. The championship runs July 23 through July 26 at the Bruce Eubanks Natatorium and features individual and relay events for swimmers of all ages.
The YMCA congratulated the Barracudas on a season of hard work and encouraged the community to cheer on both the swimmers and their coaches as they represent Benbrook on the state stage.
