The grills are firing up again this weekend as the Benbrook Middle-High School Band gets ready for its 2nd Annual Cookout.
The event, set for Saturday, October 18, is a community effort to send the Marching Bobcats off to their upcoming UIL competition with plenty of food and encouragement.
Between rehearsals and bus loading, band members will enjoy fresh-grilled burgers and sides prepared by parents, boosters, and volunteers. Organizers are asking for donations of hamburger buns, cheese, condiments, fruit, side dishes, and paper goods to help feed the hardworking students.
Residents can get involved by donating time, food, or funds to support the event. To contribute or learn more, contact Christy at 817-805-5661.
Itโs a great way for Benbrook to rally behind its talented band students and celebrate their dedication before they hit the field for UIL competition.
