Pencils, backpacks, and cake pops. The back-to-school season is getting a little sweeter in Benbrook.
The Cake Ballerina is hosting two hands-on cake pop classes Saturday, Aug. 29, giving kids ages 6 and older a chance to trade schoolwork for something considerably tastier.
Classes will be offered from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and again from 1 to 2:30 p.m. For $45 per child, participants will dip and decorate six back-to-school-themed cake pops along with one Rice Krispie Treat, all of which they can take home.
