Animal welfare and community concerns will once again take center stage this week as the Benbrook Animal Shelter Advisory Committee meets Friday, May 15, at 12:30 p.m. inside the conference room at the Benbrook Police Department.
The meeting agenda includes approval of February meeting minutes, a review of animal control statistics from February through April 2026, updates on current animal control issues, and a report from 4Paws members.
Residents interested in local animal services, shelter operations, and community pet concerns are welcome to follow the discussion as committee members continue reviewing ongoing needs and trends across Benbrook.
The facility is wheelchair accessible. Residents needing accommodations or sign interpretive services may contact Senior Animal Control Officer Jennifer Sharp at 817-249-6087 at least 48 hours in advance.
Additional city meeting information can be found on the City of Benbrook website.
