Adoption Weekend Brings Future Furry Friends and Families Together.

For many families, finding the right dog is about more than a quick meet-and-greet. It’s about finding a companion that fits their home, lifestyle, and everyday rhythm.

That’s the idea behind Saving Hope Animal Rescue’s Adoption Weekend at the Rescue Ranch in Aledo on June 13-14. The event offers a more personalized adoption experience, pairing prospective adopters with rescue team members who help match families with dogs that fit their needs and preferences.

Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet adoptable puppies and adult dogs, and spend time getting to know potential new family members. All available dogs are fully vetted, including vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter services. Many are also house-trained and crate-trained.

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. by appointment only at 14184 Aledo Iona Road in Aledo. Appointment slots are available every 45 minutes, and attendees must have a conditionally approved adoption application on file before participating.

Sometimes the right match is waiting when you least expect it. This weekend could be the start of a new friendship for both a family and a dog looking for a place to call home.
