One Benbrook resident’s simple online order has turned into a two-month-long waiting game, thanks to a package that never arrived at the right doorstep.
What was supposed to be a routine delivery stretched far past its promised arrival window, with little help from the seller and plenty of frustration along the way.

Between shipping companies marking packages as “delivered” before they’ve actually arrived, the handoff shuffle between carriers like FedEx, UPS, and USPS, and unclear tracking numbers, it’s no wonder more people are chasing down packages instead of unboxing them.
Some suggested checking Google Street View to match porches from tracking photos. Others recommended speaking directly with mail carriers or filing credit card disputes when companies refuse to step up. And then there’s the unfortunate reality that, once a package is marked as delivered, many retailers wash their hands of responsibility.
