Sometimes the best community events are the ones filled with simple moments: kids laughing in a bounce house, neighbors catching up, and families spending time together.
The Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce recently stopped by Comfort Keepers’ National Day of Joy Carnival at the Benbrook YMCA and found plenty of all three. The event featured games, bounce houses, activities, and opportunities for residents to connect with one another in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
Chamber leaders praised the event as a reminder of what makes Benbrook special, highlighting the relationships and sense of community that grow when neighbors gather together.
They also thanked Comfort Keepers for hosting the carnival and for its ongoing support of seniors, families, and the broader community throughout the year.
Events like these may only last a day, but the connections they create often last much longer. In a growing community, those moments of joy still matter.
