The Benbrook Fire Department has some well-earned recognition to celebrate, even if the news is arriving fashionably late.
Chris Rossing, a familiar face at BFD since 2013, is now Division Chief. Over the years, he’s earned a string of accolades and moved up the ranks with purpose. Now leading all training and inspection efforts, Rossing officially took on the new role back in March.
Sarah Scheinoha, who first joined the department as a volunteer in 2021 and went full-time in 2022, was promoted to Lieutenant in November. She’s made an impressive rise in just a few years.
And rounding out the list is Alex Almon, who also joined in 2021. His work extends beyond the firehouse, helping raise funds for the firefighters association through popular community events. He was promoted to Lieutenant this past March.
Big congratulations to all three. Their dedication keeps Benbrook safe and strong.
