Hoffbrau Steak & Grill House in Benbrook received a score of 88 during a routine Tarrant County Public Health inspection Wednesday, October 14.
The restaurant, located at 8501 Benbrook Boulevard, Suite 150, was cited for seven food safety and sanitation violations.
Among the findings, inspectors reported residue and microbial growth inside the ice machine, uncovered food in a freezer, and standing water collecting in cracks in the kitchen floor.
Other violations included employee drinks on food preparation tables, missing paper towels at a handwashing sink, unlabeled bulk food containers, and improperly stored wiping cloths.
Inspectors outlined corrective actions, including cleaning the ice machine, protecting stored food, improving sanitation practices, and repairing damaged flooring where water and food debris could accumulate.
