Homecoming preparations are underway at Western Hills High School, where students can make their own mums for free.
The Cougar Pride Alliance recently hosted an after-school mum-making activity, with parent Priscilla Builtron lending her creativity and experience to help students put together their homecoming creations.
Students who haven’t made theirs yet will have another opportunity Saturday, October 10, from 10 a.m. to noon at Cougar Corner, with additional sessions planned after school Tuesday and Wednesday, October 13 and 14.
It’s a chance for Western Hills students to enjoy a long-time Texas homecoming tradition without the added expense of purchasing a mum.
