After helping Benbrook open district play with a 17-14 win over Southwest, senior quarterback Lucas Davis is getting some Fort Worth-area recognition.
Davis has been nominated for the Star-Telegram’s Week 5 Fort Worth-area Football Player of the Week after throwing for 286 yards and two touchdowns in Friday night’s win. He completed 57.6% of his passes as Benbrook improved to 3-1 on the season.
Now Bobcat Nation can get involved. Fans can vote for Davis in the Star-Telegram’s weekly poll, and they can cast multiple votes.
Benbrook got the win Friday night. Now No. 3 has a chance to bring home a little extra recognition for The Brook.
