Financial aid forms can bring plenty of questions, so Western Hills High School is setting aside time to help seniors and their families work through them.
The school will hold an all-day FAFSA/TASFA workshop Oct. 1 and 2 in the Go Center. Seniors can stop by throughout the day for help completing applications or getting answers about the financial aid process.
Parents can get help, too. A FAFSA/TASFA Parent Night is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 7, in the Go Center. Families can ask questions, receive assistance, and work through the parent portion of the application.
The 2027-28 FAFSA opened Sept. 23, while the TASFA opens Oct. 1.
For Western Hills seniors thinking about college, trade school, or other education after graduation, the message from the school is simple: start early, ask questions, and use the help available.
