Rolling Hills Elementary students will soon have a chance to get a little wild after school.
Amanda Wilde and Shelly Tarver are bringing Wilde Critter Club to Rolling Hills Elementary beginning Tuesday, Oct. 6. The six-week after-school program gives students in first through fifth grade hands-on opportunities to learn about animals, nature, and responsible animal care.
And these lessons come with some interesting classmates.
Students will encounter animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates while learning about habitats, adaptations, and animal behavior. Each week also includes science activities and creative projects tied to what they’re learning.
The club meets Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for six weeks. Registration is $130, with a 10% discount for multiple children. Space is limited. Learn more at WildeCritterClub.com.
