Extra Speech Support Opens in Benbrook.

Parents whose child already receives speech therapy at school but could use a little more practice can book a few spots this school year.

Erin Peine LeCheminant, a pediatric speech-language pathologist, is offering private, one-on-one sessions for school-aged children in Benbrook. The goal is to give kids additional time to work on communication skills and reinforce progress toward their IEP goals.

Support can include articulation and speech sounds, language development, fluency and stuttering, IEP goal reinforcement and progress monitoring. Parent consultations are also available, along with collaboration with a child’s IEP team, with parents’ permission.

Sessions are 30 minutes and offered in person, with evening appointments and weekly or every-other-week options available.
