A few pantry staples can go a long way for a Fort Worth family.
The Fort Worth Community Collaborative is asking the community to help restock its pantry, with several everyday food items currently running low.
The greatest needs include tuna pouches, chili without beans, rice or Knorr sides, boxed macaroni and cheese, cereal, shelf-stable milk, and other unexpired, nonperishable pantry items.
The organization is also looking for easy-to-pack snacks such as fruit snacks, granola bars, applesauce, and fruit cups.
Have extra reusable grocery bags tucked away at home? Those are needed, too, and can be donated for grocery deliveries.
Residents looking for a simple way to help a neighbor can use their next grocery run to pick up an extra item or two for a local family.
