Benbrook Middle-High School briefly placed the campus on HOLD Wednesday after a medical emergency involving a student or staff member.
According to Principal Dr. Jason Oliver, school staff responded immediately and called EMS to the campus. The HOLD was initiated as a precaution to reduce traffic in the hallways while the person received care.
Instruction continued during the response, and Oliver said all students and staff were safe.
โWe are grateful to our staff and first responders for their quick and professional care,โ Oliver told Benbrook families.
No additional information about the medical emergency was provided.
