A few strips of paper, a quilling tool and a little creativity are all it takes to turn an afternoon at the Benbrook Public Library into something worth framing.
On Friday, Aug. 14, the library will host a Paper Quilling Cats workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. Participants will learn the basics of paper quilling, using thin strips of colored paper to roll, shape and assemble their own cat design.
The program is for adults ages 18 and older, with all materials provided. Registration is required.
